Kamloops RCMP continue to investigate a stabbing that left one person injured in downtown Kamloops last month.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours of June 14 in the 300-block of Victoria Street. Police said the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
RCMP have described the stabbing as an isolated incident and say there is no ongoing risk to public safety.
Investigators are still seeking information from anyone who was in the area at the time, witnessed the incident, observed suspicious activity, or may have dash camera footage from the 300-block of Victoria Street and surrounding area.
“We’re asking anyone who may have seen something, no matter how minor it may seem, or who has dash camera footage from the area, to contact Kamloops RCMP,” Staff Sgt. Andy Lot said in a news release. “Information from the public could be key to advancing this investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
