BC Wildfire Service publishes current fire locations, danger ratings, evacuation orders and alerts, smoke forecasts, and burn prohibitions. Danger ratings are updated daily at approximately 2 p.m.

REGISTER FOR EMERGENCY SUPPORT SERVICES BEFORE YOU NEED THEM
BC Emergency Support Services (ESS) provides food, lodging, clothing, and other assistance to evacuees. Pre-registration allows the province to verify your identity and deliver financial support by Interac e-transfer without requiring a visit to a reception centre. Registration can take up to two weeks.

FireSmart — Free home assessments are available from Kamloops Fire and Rescue. Rebate programs cover vegetation removal and fire-resistant home improvements. Book an assessment:
