August 16 @ 8:00 pm at the new Club Current: Heatwave Hotties Drag Show! Join your hosts Miss Mousse and Autumn Horizon, with their special guests: Peter Packer and Wanda Lust. Witness the heat as our performers light up the stage with their electrifying presence and jaw-dropping numbers! Don’t forget to bring cash if you’d like to tip the performers as there is no ATM at the venue.

July 1 to Aug 31 @ 7:00 pm at Riverside Park: Music in the Park!  Free performances take place at the Riverside Park Rotary Bandshell each evening, 7:00–8:30 pm, weather and air quality permitting. Cancellation of a show is at the discretion of the evening performer. Food Trucks will be in Heritage House (100 Lorne Street) every evening starting at 6:00 pm.

August 7 to 10 at The Meadow – Pritchard: Electric Love Music Festival. Get ready for the most electrifying summer weekend as the Electric Love Music Festival returns for its 10th Anniversary celebration! From August 7-10, 2025, join us for three unforgettable days of music, art, and community in the heart of British Columbia.

COMEDY

August 9 @ 7:00 pm at the Effie Arts Collective: Chimera Theatre presents The Freudian Slips Strip & Sip Improv. Join the Freudian Slips into their latest adventure into the world of improv and clothing removal for the ever saucy Strip n Sip! A clock will be ticking down from THREE minutes – and within that timer they must take a drink in the context of the scene, from our notorious shot table. If the slips forget or are unable to take a drink before the timer reaches zero, the alarm will reset and improvisers will have to remove clothing in the context of the scene! This twist on a crowd favourite theme is sure to tickle and titillate!

August 13 and 27 @ 8:00 to 10:00 pm at the Effie Arts Collective: Kamloops Comedy Society presents Open Mic Comedy. Every 2nd Wednesday. Do you have what it takes to be a comedian? Throw your hat in the ring and tell us a couple jokes or funny stories. Everyone is welcome. $10 at the door (Free for performers and Eff Buddies). Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8pm

DANCE

August 17 @ 7:00 pm at Heritage House on Lorne Street: Kamloops Social Club Dance night featuring musical guests William and Penny. Come and get social while dancing the evening away to  a mix of pop and country music. Admission $15.00 at the door.

August22 @ 7:00pm at Delta Hotel – 540 Victoria St: Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Dance. Traditional community dance with live fiddling and open participation. All ages.
